Navaridas & Deutinger

Marta Navaridas (*San Sebastián) and Alex Deutinger (*Salzburg) both studied Translation, Interpreting and Dance. Marta studied Translation at Pompeu Fabra University Barcelona, Choreography at ArtEZ University Arnhem and Mime at HKA Amsterdam. Alex studied Translation at Karl-Franzens University Graz and Contemporary Dance at the Institute for Dance Arts (IDA) of Anton Bruckner University Linz.

They have been developing text-based performance works since 2008. They are based in Graz, Austria.

Their works have been shown at international festivals and venues such as Abrons Arts Center New York, Gessnerallee Zürich, Maison de la Danse Lyon, Palazzo Grassi Venice, The Place London, Danspalladium Malmö, Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint Denis, Centrale Fies Drodesera, Pôle Sud Strasbourg, Impulstanz Festival Vienna, Dansens Hus Stockholm, DanceWeek Festival Zagreb, Muffatwerk Munich, Frascati Theater Amsterdam, Escena Contemporánea Madrid, Szene Salzburg, Tanzquartier Feedback Festival Vienna.
